Sun Dried Tomatoes

Recently weather is crazily hot, under such a condition there is something love this weather, oh ya ....... sun dried tomatoes love hot sun !!!!!


These are what you need ......


Utensils

Huge tray


Ingredients

2kg tomatoes, deseeded, wedged
Virgin olive oil
Some salt
Some dried basil
Some dried parsley


Instructions

Lay all the cut and deseeded tomatoes in the huge tray, sprinkle with salt, dried basil and dried parsley,
leave them under hot sun for couple of days, off course you won't want your tomatoes dried till texture turn coarsely. Dried tomatoes store in a container soak in Virgin olive oil that keep in fridge can last for months.

Tomato Soup


This is the soup that I use to make when I'm having sandwich for lunch, they are perfect match.






These are what you need............


Utensils

pot
blender


Ingredients

500mg tomato cut a cross at the bottom of each of them
1 onion diced
Some coriander for garnish
2 table spoon of cream
2 teaspoon of sugar
Some salt and pepper


Instructions

Boil a pot of hot water, soak the cut tomatoes into it and you will see the skin will curl up at the edge of the cutting, scope up the tomatoes leave to be cold. Do not soak more than 10 sec as it will cook the tomatoes. Peel the skin out from the tomatoes, cut into wedge remove the seeds, put all into the blender, blend into paste form.
Heat up the pot, pour some olive oil stir fry the onion till fragrance, pour in the tomato paste, add in salt, pepper and sugar, bring to boil.
Place the soup to a plate, add in the cream and garnish with coriander, now your soup is ready to serve.














Tips : If you would like it to be more acidic, add a big table spoon of lime juice that will surprise your taste buds.

ABC Soup


Something simple and easy to start with this blog, hope that you will like it. This is something that everyone
should have familiar with......... ABC soup

These are what you need...


Utensils
  • Pot

Ingredients
    • 300gm pork rib/pork spinal cord bone
    • 2  onions
    • 1 carrot
    • 2 tomatos
    • 1 potato





      Instructions
      1. Boil a pot of hot water, put in pork rib/pork spinal cord bone
      2. Leave it for at least 10 minutes in order to make a a clear soup.
      3. Dice tomato and onion cut wedge, carrot and potato.
      4. Put all the ingredient into soup pot and add 2000ml water, high flame bring to boil 
      5. Then turn to medium flame, maintain medium flame boil for 1 hour 
      6. Then turn to low flame boil for another hour.
      7. Now add salt to taste and the ABC soup is ready to serve.



      Herbal Advise
      If you have infant at home, use this soup to replace water to cook porridge, it taste yummy and nutrition, believe me they will love it.
